Expertise
Vasso Ioannidou is an Associate Professor of Finance at Tilburg University and a research fellow at the European Banking Center (at CentER, Tilburg University). Her research interests include the transmission mechanism of monetary policy, bank-firm relationships, prudential bank regulation and supervision, and the interaction between market discipline, deposit insurance design, and moral hazard. Her work appeared in scholarly journals such as the Journal of Finance, the Journal of Financial Intermediation and the Journal of International Economics. She holds a PhD in Economics from Boston College and a BA in Economics from the University of Cyprus.
