Expertise
Linda Senden focuses in her research both on institutional EU law and internal market law. Her special interests concern European regulatory and governance issues, the quality of European law and rulemaking, the European Court of Justice and comparative regionalism (the EU as an integration model). This research is performed within two research centers: the Center for Transboundary Legal Development and Reflect.

Projects
In 2003 L. Senden has defended her PhD on 'Soft Law in European Community Law. Its Relationship to Legislation'. She is also involved in research on the quality of European legislation and the problems this entails for its application by national courts. In the near future her research will also focus on the different national interpretations that are given to Community law concepts and on the consequences thereof.
