Career

Bart J. Koet is a member of the department of Biblical Studies of the Catholic Faculty of Theology (Utrecht/Tilburg). He read theology and biblical exegesis in Amsterdam and Rome. He taught at several universities in the Netherlands and at the University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany).

His main field of research is the way biblical traditions are used in the New Testament, especially in Luke-Acts. In this research he pays special attention to the connection between interpretation of Scripture and the phenomenon of dreams.
