Published: 9 oktober 2008 Modern student meets tradition 'Modernity vs Tradition' was the theme of this year edition of the annual story and photo/video contest organized by Tilburg University. Univers publishes the three winning stories and photos. The winning photo is a video. The Finnish incarnation of the information society - by Slavica Lazarevic [First] 'Je me souviens' Quebec - by Ellen P.G. van den Berghe [Second] Of Students and Statues in Leuven by Marcel de Laat [Third] The video 'Who is modern?' has won this year edition of the video/photo contest. The video is made by Irene Pot (25, Intercultural communication). She studied 6 months in South Africa. During a holiday tour in Mozambique people were very excited to see themselves on the videotape. Winning video by Irene Pot: 'Who is modern?'
