Medical care in the Netherlands is of a high quality. It is, however, very important to be properly insured, as medical costs can be very high, especially if you need specialised help from a hospital.
In the Netherlands, insurances are not included in the enrolment at Tilburg university. This means that students will have to make arrangements concerning their insurance before coming to Tilburg or to take out an insurance when they arrive.
