Explanation of the alterations in tuition fees 2010/11
As of September 2010 the tuition fees are going to be radically changed as a result of a amendment of the law. Which fee you need to pay depends on your nationality, your place of residence en which degrees you have obtained in Dutch higher education.
Another new rule is that in case of multiple registration at the institutional fee for one or more programmes at Tilburg University or another Dutch institution of higher education, you will pay the institutional tuition fee for each programme separately.
Exceptional and transitional rules
The main transitional rules and rules of exception are:
NEW
The instalment (including the administrative costs) will be withdrawn from your acount at the end of September, October, Novemnber, February, March, April.
Students whose instalments are not automatically withdrawn from their account, must pay the administrative costs (€24) on top of the instalments.

| Students from EU/EEA countries and Switzerland who are under 30, who are not entitled to full study grants (in Dutch: studiefinanciering) for a Dutch course in higher education can apply for a loan to pay their tuition fees.
