Video Conferencing
Video conferencing is being applied more and more within teaching and research. You can think about a long distance lecture by a professional, supervision of a trainee, working together on distance (also internationally), and exchange of research data and project progress discussions.
Video conferencing room
Library and IT Services has a fixed video conferencing room in the Goossens Building (G 246). The room can be used by a maximum of 17 persons. It can be reserved via the LIS Service Desk. Moreover, the video conferencing equipment can also be used in the auditorium or in other rooms (such as certain lecture rooms).
Costs
During office hours and for teaching purposes, video conferencing is free. In case of other aims a standard tariff of 100 euro is charged. A rise will be charged for activities carried out before and after office hours.
