Choosing a course

You would like to register for an English voucher course, but how do you choose one that is most suitable? Before you register for a course, we would recommend you do the Student English Language Assessment (SELA) first. The SELA can be found on Blackboard in the course catalogue when you search for 'SELA'. The test clearly indicates your current level and provides feedback on which course best matches your abilities. You could use the SELA, for example, to determine if your English is good enough for the course English Advanced or that maybe English for the Future is more appropriate. Some courses are aimed at a more specific skills, such as academic writing or oral skills. Of course it is for you to determine which best suits your needs.

The SELA is not required, but highly recommended before you register for a course. For more information about the test see SELA or Blackboard.
