Zwijsen building:
centre for reflection, meditation and prayer

The Zwijsen building - the university centre for reflection, meditation and prayer ('stiltecentrum') - is located in the middle of the Tilburg University campus, by which reflection has been given a central role within the university. Although you might think the building looks very shut from the side, from above you can see its eye shaped form, which is looking towards heaven. The interior of the Zwijsen building reminds us of a shell. When entering the building, its spiral form will lead you to the main room. With this building - Tilburg University and the Centre for Science and Values (Dutch: CWL) - offer you a place to pray, to search for inspiration, to meditate individually or in a group, or just to be in the building quietly and relax. And frequently works of art are being exhibited in the building.

The Zwijsen building is open during working days from 9.00 am till 10.00 pm (22.00 hrs.)
You are welcome to visit the building (except when the building is reserved for a meeting: notice the Agenda).
The building is closed during weekends and national holidays.

It is possible for students and/or employees of Tilburg University to make a reservation for a variety of meetings being held in the Zwijsen building during regular opening hours. See: Reservations / Contact.
