The Master's programme consists of 60 ECTS. It is divided into two semesters of 30 ECTS each. Additionally, 15 ECTS can be obtained from so-called 'complementary' courses, which are highly recommended in order to obtain a complete business law profile.

Note for Dutch students: Dutch students who want to have an academic title with civiel effect also have to attend the course Burgerlijk procesrecht en geschiloplossing (6 ECTS). They can do this on top of the regular programme.
Commencement
Students may only register to start in the Autumn semester, as the compulsory courses will only be offered at that time.
Note for international students: International students are expected to arrive in Tilburg by Mid-August. Detailed information will be provided upon approval of the application.
Degree
After successfully completing the programme, students will be awarded the Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Business Law.
Career prospects
The programme has been designed to prepare students for a role in the various types of business or other professional practices that they are likely to encounter in their careers, including large international law firms, the in-house legal departments of large firms, the civil service (including the EC civil service) and trans-national associations (both for-profit, and non-profit).
