Human Aspects of Information Technology
ProgrammeThe HAIT master's track consists of four blocks of six weeks each.
Block 1
You will acquire knowledge about natural language processing,
digital image processing and you will learn basic research skills.
Subjects that will be part of your programme:
Block 2
You will gain more in-depth knowledge about
information search and retrieval, artificial intelligence
and you will take your research skills to a higher level.
Subjects that will be part of your programme:
- Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery
- Information Search, Retrieval and Recommendation
- Research skills - Programming
Block 3
You will take two or more electives
and you will start with your master's thesis.
Examples of electives are:
Block 4
You will work extensively on you thesis.
You will also have the opportunity to do a work placement
at a Dutch or foreign company.
The last two blocks can be done at a foreign university.
You conclude the master's programme with writing a master's thesis.
