Ruud Lubbers, former Prime Minister of the Netherlands and professor of Globalization at Tilburg University from 1995 till 2001, is Honorary Chairman of Globus. Ruud Lubbers was Chairman of Globus from 1998 till 2001. In 2001, he left Tilburg University to become the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
Nigel Roome is Academic Director of Globus since September 2007.
Paul van Seters, professor of Globalization and Sustainable Development at TiasNimbas Business School, is Executive Director of Globus;
Viv Mestdagh is Project Manager of Globus.
At present there are three special chairs at Globus. First, professor
Pieter Winsemius holds a chair in the Management of Sustainable Development. The chair was installed in 1999 by the
Sustainability Challenge Foundation (SCF). Second, as of September 2000, professor
Bastiaan Zoeteman holds a chair in International Policy on Sustainability. The chair was installed by the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning, and the Environment (VROM), where Zoeteman was the deputy Director General for Environment. Third, professor
Paul Dekker holds a chair in Civil Society, Globalization and Sustainable Development. The chair was established in 2001, with the cooperation of the Social and Cultural Planning Office (SCP). Formally these chairs are part of one of the faculties of Tilburg University.
