Bachelor's students

The Bachelor's programmes were first introduced at Tilburg Law School, in the academic year 2002-2003.

The Bachelor's programmes have an official duration of three years. The courses in the first year of the Bachelor's programmes introduce students to different legal disciplines. This first year is comprised of the following courses:

  • Introduction to Law
  • Administrative Law
  • Elementary Private Law
  • Constitutional Law
  • Elementary Criminal Law
  • European Legal History
  • Introduction to Tax Law
  • Introduction to International and European Law
  • Introduction to Public Administration and Informatisation
  • Introduction to Law and Management

Dutch students at Tilburg University can choose to specialise in one of the following Bachelor's programmes: Dutch Law, Tax Law, International and European Law, Public Administration, or Law and Management. All Bachelor's programmes are at the moment offered in the Dutch language only.
