Remco Heesen is currently a student of Philosophy and History of Science at the London School of Economics. He obtained both his BA in Philosophy and BSc and MSc in Econometrics and Operations Research from Tilburg University. He is interested in issues of rationality and choice such as displayed in the areas of e.g. social choice theory and decision theory. His bachelor's thesis in philosophy is on paradoxes in expected utility theory, which led to some joint research with Jan Sprenger in this area. He has been awarded scholarships by the Huygens Scholarship Programme, the VSB fund and Tilburg University to continue his studies in London.

Hans Lindahl is Chair in Legal Philosophy in the Department of Philosophy at Tilburg University. He took a law degree and a minor in economics at the Universidad Javeriana, in Bogotá (Colombia), and a Master's and Ph. D. in philosophy at the Higher Institute of Philosophy at the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). His research and teaching focuses on legal and political philosophy, with a special emphasis on issues pertaining to political representation, sovereignty and collective identity. He has published extensively, including articles in a number of leading philosophical and legal journals (e.g. in Law and Philosophy, Ratio Juris, Archiv für Rechts- und Sozialphilosophie, Oxford Journal of Legal Studies, Phänomenologische Forschungen, Philosophy and Social Criticism). He has been awarded a one-year grant by the NWO (Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research) for research into the normative foundations of European immigration policy. Wouter Meijs studied physics and philosophy at Utrecht University. After finishing his masters in philosophy of science and in international ethics, he worked as a Ph. D. student at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam under supervision of Igor Douven. He graduated "cum laude" in 2005 with his thesis Probabilistic Measures of Coherence. He has published in various international papers, including Mind, Philosophical Studies, Synthese and Erkenntnis.

Sam Sanders is currently a Junior Professor at the Department of Mathematics of Ghent University. He studied Pure Mathematics at Ghent University with a Master's thesis on Nonstandard Analysis. In his PhD thesis, he solved two open problems in Reverse Mathematics. In particular, he discovered the first application of Reverse Mathematics outside Mathematics, in the Philosophy of Science. His research takes place in the intersection of Logic, Philosophy and the Foundations of Mathematics. For more information, visit his webpage.
