Democracy and Religion

Approximately 25 MA-level students in philosophy and theology from the Jagiellonian University Krakow, the University of Essex, the Babeş-Bolyai University Cluj-Napoca and Tilburg University (coordinator) will be working together intensively in a two-week (29 March, 2010 ¿ 11 April, 2010) 6 EC intensive programme on ¿Democracy and religion in 21st century Europe¿.

The programme will take place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Since the programme will be funded by the European Union travel and subsistence costs will for the bigger part be reimbursed.

From each participating institute six students of the MA in Philosophy* can participate in the programme. Selection takes place at the institute at which the student is registered.

* The programme is set up interdisciplinary. Therefore, also MA students in Theology may apply, provided they are acquainted with research in Philosophy. A maximum of two Theology students per institute can be admitted.
