The Department of Communication and information sciences hosts about 65 staff members, who are working in the broad field of communication and information studies. Research in the department is located in the Centre for Cognition and Communication (TiCC). Research interests include human aspects of information technology, knowledge representation, discourse studies, non verbal communication, multimodal communication.

Visit Indian delegation to the Netherlands On 18th May, 2010 the Indian delegation visited the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), where Tilburg University had the great opportunity to present its programme, Communication and Information Sciences. The presentation was carried out by Omid Feyli and Prof. Dr. Jaap van den Herik.
