Institutes

Researchers from the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences participate in a number of institutes that focus on particular substantive topics. Most of these institutes are multidisciplinary.

Babylon
Babylon is the multidisciplinary and interfaculty expertise centre of Tilburg University that carries out research and education in the field of diversity of cultures, languages and religions in a multicultural context.

CIR
CIR, the center for innovation research at Tilburg University, pursues and propagates fundamental research on innovation with a focus on the strategic and organizational dynamics associated with innovation and learning at the organizational, intra-organizational, and inter-organizational levels.

CoRPS
The mission of the research within CoRPS is to contribute to disease management care for patients with chronic medical conditions.

European Values Study
The EVS Foundation aims at planning and promoting joint activities and offers assistance in fund raising for the EVS project.

INTERVICT
The International Victimology Institute Tilburg (INTERVICT) promotes and executes interdisciplinary research that can contribute to a comprehensive, evidence-based body of knowledge on the empowerment and support of victims of crime and abuse of power.

Netspar
Netspar is a national network for research and education in the field of pensions, aging and retirement.

Tiber
Tiber is the Tilburg Institute for Behavioral Economics Research. Tiber is a research institute devoted to studying the psychological processes underlying individual choice and economic decision making from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Tranzo
Tranzo is a scientific center for transformations in health and welfare. The mission is to build a bridge between science and practice on the field of health care, welfare and housing.

ReflecT
The Research Institute for Flexicurity, Labour Market Dynamics and Social Cohesion at Tilburg University, to be referred to as ReflecT, is a inter-facultary and multi-disciplinary research institute initiated and coordinated by the Faculty of Law of Tilburg University in which also the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences are involved.
