Student Organisation Studies selected for Harvard National Model United Nations

Liesbeth van den Munckhof, a fourth year student of Policy and Organization Studies, has been selected as one of the 35 student delegates of United Netherlands (out of 350 applications), which is the Dutch delegation to Harvard National Model United Nations.

Liesbeth reacted to an advertisement that had been posted on the Blackboard site of one of the courses she is attending in Organisation Studies. After having gone through two challenging selection rounds, she will receive an American debate training and undergo an extensive preparatory track with some of the best professors and diplomats.

Early next year, the Dutch contingent will visit the United Nations Head Quarters in New York and afterwards participate in the world's oldest and most ambitious United Nations simulation at Harvard University.

In the simulation game, she will compete and cooperate with students from all over the world and experience first-hand the challenges real diplomats face.
