Mark Lang University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Mark Lang is the Thomas W. Hudson, Jr./ Deloitte and Touche L.L.P. Distinguished Professor of Accounting at the Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina. He obtained an MBA and PhD from the University of Chicago and holds a degree of CPA. Professor Lang is an expert in the field of international accounting research and published a large number of studies in top-ranked, internationally refereed journals like the Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, Accounting Review, Contemporary Accounting Research and Review of Accounting Studies and serves on the editorial boards of journals like Journal of Accounting Research, Review of Accounting Studies and Contemporary Accounting Research. In the classroom, Mark teaches both graduate, MBA and PhD courses and received various awards for outstanding teaching excellence.

Mark DeFond, University of Southern California
Mark DeFond is the Joseph A. DeBell Professor of Business Administration and Professor of Accounting at University of Southern California. Professor DeFond studies international accounting, auditing, and corporate governance, with articles published in the Journal of Accounting and Economics, the Journal of Accounting Research, and The Accounting Review. He is associate editor of the Journal of Accounting and Economics and serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Accounting Research and The Accounting Review. He received the Notable Contribution to Auditing Literature Award in 2006. Professor DeFond is a four-time winner of the MBA Golden Apple Award, and won a Mellon Award for Excellence in Mentoring Faculty and the Dean's Educator of the Year Award.
Peter Wysocki, University of Miami
Peter Wysocki is Associate Professor of Accounting at University of Miami, Florida. He obtained a Ph.D. from Simon Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Rochester and was previously associated with MIT Sloan School of Management and University of Michigan. His research interests include corporate information in relation to capital markets, international accounting and comparative economics, financial information, analysts and quantitative investment strategies. He has published in various internationally peer-reviewed top journals like: Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Accounting Research, Contemporary Accounting Research, Journal of Financial Economics (as All Star Paper for highest citation rate) and Journal of Banking and Finance. He currently serves on the editorial board of Journal of Accounting and Economics and the European Accounting Review.
