The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEB) is the largest faculty of Tilburg University. It offers education to approximately 5500 students and employs 550 people, of which 100 of them are professors. About 50 million euro goes around in this faculty.
The education consists out of 7 bachelor's programmes and 19 master's programmes . Every year 1000 student start with a bachelor programme of this faculty. Approximately one third of this number is woman and about half of those students choose for one of the English Bachelor programmes. Every single one of them gives you excellent career opportunities.
FEB has got a terrific reputation. The education is caring, the research high-minded and the facilities like computers and library are excellent. Judging from the yearly top rankings of the universities in the magazine “Elsevier” and the guide “Keuzegids Hoger Onderwijs”. The fact that the faculty acquired accreditation from NVAO (Dutch-Flamisch Accreditation Organisation) and AACSB is also proof of their professionalism.
In the field of research the economic faculty belongs to the top notch, according to the rankings of the Journal of the European Economic Association (JEEA, December 2003) and the University of Texas at Dallas.
It is the mission of the faculty to keep this top position in the Netherlands and the rest of Europe.
