Exchange application
The application and registration process can be divided into four steps:
- Checking if your university is an exchange partner of Tilburg University
See if your university is on our list of partner institutions. If your university is not on the list, you can also come as a free mover student to Tilburg University.
- Application at your home institution
If your university is an exchange partner of Tilburg University you can apply for a study abroad period at the International Office of your own university.
- Application at Tilburg University
Once you have been selected by your home institution, you can start your application by filling in the online application form and gathering all required documents.
Please read the instructions before filling in the online application form.
After receiving your application form and the complete set of required documents, Tilburg University will send you a confirmation by email and will start the admission procedure by evaluating your educational background. The admission procedure usually takes around four weeks.
- Registration
If you have been admitted to an exchange programme at Tilburg University, you will receive a confirmation of your admission. As an international student you will receive your registration package during the Welcome Week. You are kindly requested to fill in the registration documents as soon as possible. You need to be registered in order to attend educational activities.
